THERAPIES
PHYSICAL THERAPY AND REHABILITATION
The main objective of physical therapy is the optimal promotion of body health and function through the application of scientific principles to prevent, develop, maintain, restore maximum movement and functional capacity.

The result of the therapy will improve the condition of the human body using a variety of physical techniques that will increase strength, improve movement and strengthen the skills necessary to complete daily activities and promote independence.

Our full-time staff will guide student physical therapists who have completed the course and clinical training but still need real-life experience.
HYDROTHERAPY
During the rehabilitation of our patients, water has been a very helpful tool for therapeutic evolution, functioning as a comprehensive treatment for various situations involving the human body and for the treatment of physical dysfunctions.
Water helps and provides the body with mechanical or thermal energy; which means performing various exercises that are not possible in external environments.
It is our goal to minimize joint and muscle load, facilitate movement, and also provide a means of resistance to muscle strengthening. We have 8 classes per week and in a typical year we offer 535 hydrotherapy sessions.
BEACH THERAPY
Due to the benefits of our location next to the ocean and silver, we have used sand as a thermal therapeutic agent for patients with spasticity in the upper and lower extremities in order to reduce and relax musculoskeletal tension and increase the range of motion.
It also stimulates the central nervous system through texture discrimination and is indicated as a means of resistance for the muscular system.
In patients in the gait strengthening and reeducation phase, the sand functions as an optimal tool for their rehabilitation. In a typical year, we offer 30 weekly group sessions for 3 to 7 patients.
